Bad shipping and customer service
Love the clothes, always have a good time in the store, but beware of returning online. They use cheap return shipping and it’s riddled with problems. My package was in limbo for 3 weeks, just said pending. FedEx wouldn’t help, they told me to get ref to file a claim, ref said they wouldn’t and there was nothing they could do. Thank goodness it got to them a few days later, but I won’t be ordering again, not safe to do so.
I purchased a £218 dress in October…
I purchased a £218 dress in October 2021 for a wedding. After the wedding I had the dress dry cleaned and stored safely away in my wardrobe. Took the dress out today (July 2022) to take on holiday with me - the hemline has entirely fallen away. Emailed customer services who, although replied promptly, are refusing any compensation. So disappointing given this is the most expensive item of clothing I’ve ever bought. Certainly would not recommend buying from this company.

Appalling quality for the price
I have to join the chorus of negative reviews. Unfortunately I bought a dress from Reformation before looking on Trustpilot as I didn't think it would be necessary to check them out. Well, the dress arrived and it is SHOCKING quality for a £285 dress. I literally could have bought the same thing in Primark or H&M for £30. Absolutely shocking. Also, this company says it's sustainable, but even though there are shops in the UK selling the same dress I ordered, the dress was shipped from the US! I didn't realise this until the order was already placed. I gather when I return the dress (which also didn't suit me and looked really dowdy) it will go back to the US - so that's two return flights it didn't need to take. I can't believe how many companies charge huge amounts of money for absolutely shocking quality stuff and seem to get away with it. Articles are still being written about how great Reformation clothes are and I just don't understand it. Do not shop here, shop elsewhere.

Awful customer service
I bought a really lovely and very expensive dress from Reformation to wear to a wedding… have worn it twice and dry cleaned it as per the instructions and it’s developed these horrible white fault lines in the fabric.
Contacted the company on to have them blame me and say “ All of our items are carefully tested to ensure that the approved garment care instructions will not damage our garments. Sadly, this likely means this item was improperly cared for, and for that reason, we aren't able to provide further assistance.” Pretty upsetting… as this is one of the most expensive items I own and I have taken every care to look after it. Pretty gobsmacked they won’t offer any help or advice.
Should have learnt my lesson when I tried to buy this same dress originally in the sale, and instead of sending it… two weeks after my purchase had gone through they said “sorry it’s not in stock anymore but you can buy it at full price.”
I won’t be buying from Reformation again. Terrible customer care.
Terrible customer service and scam company
I have been shopping at Reformation for years but recently their company and customer service have completely gone downhill. I recently placed an order and it was only partially shipped. After two weeks I contacted customer service about the two missing items from the delivery. They then told me that those items were actually out of stock and would provide a refund for me.
When I received the refund it was only a partial refund. I asked them why I did not receive a full refund as the items were never even shipped to me. They said because "customs and duties" are non-refundable. I pointed out to them that according to their policy "duties and taxes" that are reflected in product price are eligible for full refunds. Only duties and taxes are paid "separately" at check-out are non-refundable. And I did not pay any "separate" duties and taxes. I been shopping at Reformation for years and have always received full refunds for my returns.
Furthermore, why would the customer be made to pay "duties and taxes" when the products were never even shipped to them (which means the clothing were never even exported and imported to destination country).
After I made these points, they further argued that when the products are "ordered", duties and taxes are already forwarded to local customs. And they said that I should contact local customs and try to get the money back.
So they are asking the customer to bear the responsibility of going through all the trouble and time-consuming process of contacting local customs to try to get the money back. Even though they are the one who made a mistake of not correctly reflecting their inventory and clearly there is something wrong with their fulfilment process.
This is just completely outrageous and ridiculous and a huge waste of my time.

Absolutely scam do not do not do not…
Absolutely scam do not do not do not buy from here. The dresses look nice but they can ONLY be worn once, even if you get the 'green dry clean' they will shrink and you'll have paid a silly amount of money for one wear, definitely do not buy from here they are unethical and care very little about their customers (proved through their awful customer service)

Great Service
The dress I ordered was a good style and good quality, but it wasn't quite right. The return process was the easiest process I have come across, no hassles and the courier came to my door to pick it up. They returned my email personally. I trust this company.
Dress shrank with recommended care
Horrible experience, super disappointing. I have ordered a few other times from Reformation. I have a dress from there that I wear all the time and dry clean. I bought a second dress to wear to multiple events this year, wore it once and took it to be dry cleaned. It says on the website - for this dress - "dry clean only." When I got the dress back from the dry cleaners I could barely get it back on. The length was several inches shorter and I could not zip it. This has never happened with my other dress.
I sent an email with before and after photos, as well as my dry cleaners receipt, alerting them to what happened and they wrote back stating that it must have been MY fault for not taking proper care of the dress. I responded expressing my disappointment and they gave me a 10% off coupon. This does not make up for my experience. I am a student, and spent $278 on a dress I got to wear once. Disgusted with their response. This company has expensive products - they should have been willing to replace my dress, or at the very least have me to send it to them to take a look. I am now $300 out with no dress.
The design and the quality of the dress & shoes is great
I’ve ordered matching dress and shoes and loved the look and feel of both. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the shoes is on the smaller side and the sizing isn’t perfect. Would definitely buy from them again, but will be more careful with the sizing.

Overrated
Overrated ! Bought two dresses “
Jessi” ( ir was kinda sold out ) with printed fabric . When they got here , they soooo looked cheap, a $90 dress from
Reformation looks like Zara , H&M type of thing , no lining and since it’s no a plain fabric ; is the type of dress u can recognize easily , the type everyone here in NYC will be wearing.
I rather buy vintage at Poshmark , Etsy , I can find amazing dresses for $40
Or a $60 dress at Etsy is the creme de la cremme , not a “ basic privileged wannabe conscious not creative dress “
I returned it .
The return it’s being taking so long ; for some
reason , you send it through USPS and then it transfers to FEDEX , but Reformation never advised me . I was freaking out because my USPS tracking number was saying that was in transit for
More than 12 days !!!!!!!! I though my package was lost or something .
But actually Reformation had the NEW tracking number with FEDEX !!! After two weeks stills waiting for my package to get there !!!!
Feeling free of not having a reformation on my closet

Watch out for the sizes
I love the designs and the sustainability aspect of the brand.
But the big fat minus for me is the sizing. Firstly the brand is in no way as size inclusive as the site would make you believe. There are not a lot of items in bigger sizes and the XL is more like an L from other places. Secondly you can get different items in the same size and one will be too big on you whereas the other you don’t even fit. Therefore the sizing is not reliable and you wouldn’t really be able to truly know your size even with this one brand.
The sizing issue in general was very disappointing to me since I really love everything else about this brand and would hope there would be more size inclusive and true to size brands like this.

Clothes and CLIMATE CHANGE PROPAGANDISTIC
Too FAKE CLIMATE CHANGE PROPAGANDISTIC. I used to love their items before, they even made better outfits. They took away some simple outfits that got sold out and instead introduced ugly pieces that fit 12 year olds. Some items you either have to be pretty fat and 17 to wear and look good with your chest very high on top or skeletical-like with an A chest—anything I buy from here I have to get tailored since my chest fits a big size and the waist is a small size. Many of their items are insulting to women since they place the breast pocket side of a top all the way on top as of the majority of the population has the chest of a 17 year old. I’m sure successful women can afford these outfits not much girls. As a successful woman I can’t contribute to a brand that can’t make a woman’s body clothing.
2) the newer knit items based on RECYCLED MATERIAL turns old after 2 washes. This is a complete SCAM. This should cost $20. Not $120.
Also, this whole climate change save the earth ridiculousness needs to stop. MOST OF US ARE NOT LIB’s, and we are not interested in your fake propaganda that benefits corporations with our tx payin ds. For this reason and since the way items are made are not as great as they used to be, I will refrain from shopping.
There are a ton of other brands who don’t ignorantly put all over your emails and bags how ignorant they are in their false political beliefs based on lies and corruption.
I’m sure, since the majority of the population has conservative “reality” values and is against these horrors, this is a terrible business practice.
I still like some of your items, but not worth contributing to people who are for corruption.
Do not order from this website
Do not order from this website. There is no customer service phone number; they will not call you to help with a problem with your order. I’ve spent all day today trying to communicate with them via their wildly inefficient text messaging system. After ordering two days ago with next day shipping, I have still not received my order and they cannot tell me where it is, nor when it will arrive. Please save yourself hours of headache and order from a different online retailer. Do not give this company your money.
